We may collect location data (but you can turn turn location services off)

We collect location information to provide you with location-based ‘GroovSense Live’ sessions.

Location Services:
When joining a session as a guest, location data is used to allow you to join sessions in your immediate vicinity.
When hosting a ‘Live’ session, location data is used to geolocate (place your session in a specific area) then geofence (create boundaries to the area in which your session is active) your session. You can turn off this functionality at any time by turning off the location services settings for the App on the device.

Background Location Services:
Location data is collected when GroovSense is running in the background so that you are alerted when entering a ‘Live’ session vicinity and leave the session when you leave the geofence.

You can turn off this functionality at any time by turning off the location services settings for the App on the device.

If you use these Services, you consent to us and our affiliates' and licensees' transmission, collection, retention, maintenance, processing and use of your location data and queries to provide and improve location-based products and services.

You may stop us collecting such data at any time by turning off the location services settings on your device.
